I'm a pediatric speech-language pathologist, educator, researcher, and founder of Garnet Speech Language Services, PLLC and Glow Storytime. With more than 15 years of experience, I specialize in supporting listening, language, literacy, and social communication through evidence-based, play-centered approaches that empower children, families, and educators.

I hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice speech-language pathology in both New York and New Jersey.

"Meaningful communication develops through authentic relationships, engaging experiences, and strengths-based intervention tailored to each child's unique needs."

I support children and their families because
listening lays the foundation.

Garnet Speech Language Services provides comprehensive evaluations, individual therapy, and small-group intervention for children with a wide range of communication differences, including auditory-language disorders, hearing loss, and literacy- and language-based learning challenges.

I support play facilitators and educators because
communication builds connection.

I partner with educators and organizations across the United States and internationally as an Element of Play® Trainer with Rise Alliance for Children. Through professional development, coaching, and collaborative partnerships, I help teachers and school communities implement play-based practices that strengthen language development, executive functioning, social-emotional learning, and inclusive, joyful learning environments where every child can thrive.

I support my
community because

literacy sparks possibility.

Glow Storytime is my studio in Summit, NJ created to provide Reggio-inspired, literacy-themed play experiences grounded in the science of early childhood development and evidence-based speech-language practices. Glow Storytime invites families to explore stories through open-ended play, music, sensory experiences, and meaningful interactions that nurture language, curiosity, creativity, and connection.

Beyond the Clinic: Mentoring the Next Generation of Clinicians

As an adjunct instructor at New York University, I mentor future speech-language pathologists. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Sciences at New York University, where my research explores how visual arts and play-based experiences support storytelling, narrative development, and language learning in children with Developmental Language Disorder.
