My daughter Jedéa was diagnosed with Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) 6 years ago. Before we were fortunate to meet Lauren, my family's life was a rollercoaster. Constant defiance, a lot of crying and questions I had no answers to. She is now a happy, thriving 6th grader with a passion for learning. She has shown so much growth in reading comprehension, fluency and critical thinking skills.
When we first met Lauren, I knew she was the one who would provide hope. She had compassion, a spark and a warm spirit. She explained to me the thought process of a child with APD. She suggested techniques to use at home, auditory games to play, attended IEP meetings, visited my daughter's schools and provided informative materials.
I hate to think what my daughter's life would have been had I not taken the initiative to research and seek the best help possible. Lauren is the BEST. My family and I are forever thankful.

I'm so glad my son's school recommended Lauren to work with him on his speech sounds! Even though session activities were challenging for him, Lauren was kind, warm, and supportive along the way.
